Community engagement
Our Community Engagement program offers a wide range of activities and guidance to support residents. These initiatives aim to foster community pride, build resilience, and promote inclusion, while addressing the unique challenges faced by disadvantaged individuals and the African and Caribbean community. We also focus on addressing climate change and enhancing urban health by creating and preserving green spaces where people can connect with nature and enjoy protected garden areas.
We advocate for key causes to eliminate barriers many people face. Our activities include cultural history education, community events, and outreach programs each designed to empower and uplift the community. Also, we address urgent issues such as providing warm spaces, food bank supporting those impacted by the cost-of-living crisis, and promoting mental health and well-being, particularly for vulnerable groups, including the homeless.
